Unusually dark and and rainy weather made for a cozy day last Sunday.

Get Organized

My previous system of organization for my jewelry was an utter and complete joke. Necklaces were tangled, earrings were missing their counterparts, and although 90% of my jewelry was kept in a central location, the rest was lost somewhere among my many bags, shelves, etc. Enter my greatest purchase as of late...the jewelry armoire. I found this one at Cost Plus World Market (on sale, plus I had a member's coupon!)  and I couldn't be happier with the new addition to my bedroom.

Flashback 5

Recently, I went through old photos in my iPhoto and it was just so mind blowing to think back to everything that's happened in the past few years..soooo I thought I'd share 5 of my flashback moments with you guys. Yes, laughing is allowed and would even be considered appropriate in these circumstances.....

 

High school graduation and going away party (I had yet to discover the wonders of make up at this point in my life. I was a late bloomer I guess...)

 

Summer training for national team in Florida where I decided to go drastically dark.

 

22nd birthday with my family at my parent's house, and yes the scarf and hat are absolutely necessary...it was December in Ohio.

P.S. I really love how long my hair is getting, but I never seem to be able to figure out how to style it when I wear it down. Any ideas for styling tips and/or a subtle cut change that will help?

MIA

Yikes! First, please let me apologize for my abrupt lack of posting this past week. I realize I was completely MIA, but my life started charging full speed ahead and I was SO not prepared! Nonetheless, I managed to squeeze a couple pictures in. Here are a few images from the past week....

Yes, that's me in a pool with my clothes on. The synchronized swimming team that I am the volunteer coach for won the team event at our regional meet (yay!!)! However, that meant all the coaches got pushed in the pool..

When I arrived home Sunday night after hours of flights and airports, there was a package from my sister with this special treat from Cheryl's Cookie Co., a childhood favorite in Ohio.

 Started the tedious task of hand addressing my save-the-dates last night. Want to get these out ASAP, but my perfectionist personality is busy wasting a lot of envelopes and time...

 Finally got to wear my new wedges and my new H&M faux leather leggings. Hopefully this outfit will get a full post tomorrow!
